'Arogya Setu App' coming on buttoned feature phones, will cover the whole country

in the efforts being made by the Government of India to save people from corona infection Soon the government is going to deliver this app to about 90 crore people in the country and preparations are being made to extend this app not only on smartphones, but alsoon feature phones with buttons. With the help of the app, users will be able to check for themselves whether they show any symptoms related to Kovid-19 infection. The Government of India is planning to collaborate with telecom operators Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-Idea to make the Arogya Setu app accessible to all feature phones. There are about 55 crore users in India who do not have a smartphone and use a feature phone with a button. On the lines of the Arogya Setu app, users with feature phones will be called by the telecom operators. Read:

Central Helpline Numberin many languages ​​-from 1921, Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) will make voice calls in all Indian languages. MyGov CEO Abhishek Singh said that with the help of these IVRS calls, the symptoms of corona infection in the users will be investigated and any report will be reported to the local health authorities. He said, "Smartphone users will also be sent notifications from the telecom companies to download this app at the earliest." 

Currently, around 80 million smartphone users have installed this app. With the help of the app, any Kovid-19 infected person will be notified as soon as they come in contact. For this, the smartphone will use the users' GPS location and Bluetooth. The Arogya Setu app will also be introduced in feature phones at two levels. It is being tested in kaiOS feature phones such as JioPhone and the rest will reach the features of the app with IVRS.
